The summer is well and truly here, and the summer weddings are well under way now. Lauren & Tor were married yesterday, and they couldn’t have asked for better weather. They came all the way from Norway to get married in Lauren’s home town of Wellington, their family flew in from all over the world, for a bit of a break from the Norwegian winter.
Here’s some of my favorite photos from Lauren and Tor’s wedding, it was hard to narrow them down to even this many for the blog!
Lauren’s engraved ring
Lauren’s bouquet and tiara
The bridesmaids helping Lauren into her dress.
Lauren putting on her Tiara, and her flowers.
Lauren’s first look at Tor
The wedding party on the blocks near the Tug Boat on Oriental Parade
Since they came so far to get married Lauren & Tor wanted to make sure Wellington was prominent in their photos.
The monastery where they were married in the background.
A toast at their reception, at Shed 5 on the Wellington waterfront.
Two of the many images from their first dance. They claimed not to be able to dance when they came to see me the week before their wedding but they seemed to do a great job to me!
Laura’s Nana joined in on the dancing.
The last photo of the night, outside Shed 5.
Lauren and Tor were a great couple to photograph, I really enjoyed the day I spent photographing their wedding, and I wish them all the best for the future 🙂
