It's a Big Deal to your clients

I’m a member of the Digital Wedding Forum, an international group of photographers who share experience, ideas, encouragement, help educate each other, and help each other out. Some of the most well known wedding photographers in the world are on the DWF, and it’s amazing to be able to learn from the best in the field every day, from the comfort of my office! As well as educational videos, forums, and conferences, the DWF has a blog which has some interesting articles.

I recently read an article called It’s a Big Deal to your Clients. The gist of it is even if I photograph one or two weddings a week in summer it shouldn’t just be “a day at the office” for me. It’s someone special day, a day they’ve been thinking about, planning, and dreaming about for years, and the photographer should be giving 100%

This is why I go into every wedding the same way I would expect a photographer to go into my own wedding: well rested, motivated, fully prepared, and trying to take the best photos of my career. You deserve nothing less than my best!

Tim, very well put as an avid DWF reader as well it struck a chord with me in that our experiences can jade one’s feelings towards weddings, but I like you enjoy going into every wedding thinking it’s the best one i’ll ever shoot and give my clients 110% as well. Great article and it’s great to see someone doing something to ensure every wedding is fantastic.

I read the article too and it certainly made a very worthwhile points. I like to regard each wedding as an individual challenge and look to provide something new for each client.
