This Saturday we had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Helen and Daniel at the beautiful Murdoch James vineyard in Martinborough, over in the Wairarapa, our first wedding of 2012. You couldn’t have asked for a better day, lovely and sunny but not too hot, a great way to show off our country to the many guests from the UK and Australia. Their wedding day was very relaxed, a wedding with a lot of family and friends around.

Here are a few of our early favorites from their wedding, without much processing done yet. There are lots more, but we’re saving them for Helen and Daniel to see first!

Congratulations Helen and Daniel, we had a great time photographing your wedding and we’ll look forward to showing you the rest of your photos after your honeymoon.

Jay and Maki were married at The Pines in Houghton Bay on the south coast of Wellington on a wonderful spring day late last week. As an established family, they wanted some nice family photos as well as wedding photos. Here’s a sneak peak at a few of our the photos that have caught our eye so far!

We set up and ran a photo booth at Jess & Jason’s wedding, here’s a small sample of the photos!

Jessica and Jason were married this past Saturday at Gear Homestead in Porirua, Wellington, in what was probably the most colourful weddings I’ve been to! The bridesmaids were in red, purple, yellow, and orange, the groomsmen wore green and blue ties, and Jess had matching coloured ribbons in her hair; it was so cheerful and upbeat it matched them perfectly!

They couldn’t have had a better day for it, spring had sprung and the snow from a couple of weeks ago was long gone. The weather was just amazing for August, bright, sunny, and cheerful.

Here’s a sneak peak at some of the photos that have caught my eye so far. There are so many great photos, and i’ve held back some of the best ones so Jess & Jason have more to look forward to when they collect their photos in a few weeks. After they do i’ll update the gallery so everyone can see them! I’ll put photos from their photo booth up in a week or so too.

Nicole and Matt were married yesterday at the stunning Boomrock, one of our favourite venues in Wellington. They had fantastic weather, with an nice breeze to keep things cool. Stu and I had a great time photographing them all around Boomrock, with the wonderful Justine from Boomrock taking us to some great locations.
