We’ve been wanting to photograph a wedding with one camera, one fixed focal length lens, and one flash for a couple of years, with an emphasis on creating dramatic, high contrast black and white images. We’re hoping to break out and do something really cool and different!

We can’t experiment too much at weddings where couples have booked us based on our regular portfolio and expect our usual high standard of work, so we’d need to book a couple who are into the idea and happy to let us experiment. As it’s a bit of an experiment we’d be flexible with our pricing, with the bulk of the payment due only if you’re happy with the photos, but we don’t have a fixed package or price in mind.

There will be some conditions, but they’ll mostly be to make sure we get a fun couple who are happy and comfortable in front of the camera, that we have nice locations, and enough time for photos. If you and your wedding seem like what we’re interested in and you’re keen for something a bit different please get in touch on our contact form with some information about you, your wedding, your venues and locations, and why this sounds interesting to you.

We’ve spent the past few days redoing the website, generally tweaking and messing about with how it looks and how it works. If you notice anything that isn’t working, or anything that could be done better, please let us know by hitting “leave a comment” above or using the contact form!

Welcome to the Wild Photography blog! We’re professional NZIPP qualified wedding photographers based in Wellington, working all over the lower North Island. We photograph around thirty weddings each year and love every minute of it!
