Snow in Wellington!
We had a couple of inches of snow at my place today! It almost never snows in Wellington, maybe once a decade, and two inches of snow like we had this afternoon is maybe once or twice a generation! More snow’s forecast for tomorrow though, even more than today! Here’s a few snaps I took outside my house in Johnsonville, the last one is my neighbours having a snowball fight – crazy!
Back from Fiji!
Well we’re back from Fiji, it was a fantastic trip! Even in the middle of winter it’s so lovely and warm, it’s such a relaxed place, and the people are so friendly and welcoming. We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool or in a hammock, but zip lining was a highlight too – it’s like a series of flying foxes through the Fijian jungle – maybe i’ll post a video later!

If anyone needs a Fiji Wedding Photographer we’d love to go back – this was our fourth trip and we’re well used to the country and the weather
Off to Fiji!
V and I are off to Fiji for a week! We’ll be swimming, drinking cocktails, and really just lounging around in the awesome weather enjoying the break. Emails and phone messages will be return once we come back. Watch this space for photos!
Rachel (Model Shoot)
On Saturday Stu and I spent a few hours with Rachel, taking photos for her to use in programmes for her performances, as well as playing around and trying out some ideas I had rattling around in my head. As well as studio style shots we spent a little time in central Wellington, mostly in alleyways, with cool old bricks and colourful graffiti. It was a really fun day, and gave me a chance to experiment or practise more than I can at weddings.

Shelley-Anne and Matt Engagement Images
Today I had the pleasure of taking the engagement photos of Shelley-Anne and Matt, whose wedding i’m photographing in around a months time. Engagement shoots are great to get to know people a bit better, lets them get to know me and learn how I work, and gives us a chance to play around taking photos without the time constraints of a wedding day.
