Wedding photography with style, value, and outstanding service.
Welcome to the website of Wild Photography, specialist wedding photographers based in Johnsonville, Wellington. We photograph weddings in the lower North Island, with most of our weddings in the Wellington region, The Wairarapa, and Masterton. Martinborough is one of our favourite places to photograph weddings, with the brilliant weather that’s so often better than Wellington, friendly people, and great landscapes it’s a relaxing and picturesque place to get married. We’ve photographed many weddings there over the years, and we know lots of great spots for photos.
We’re NZIPP Qualified Wedding Photographers, which means we’ve reached a professional standard of photography and business practices, and we’re committed to continuing education and continuous improvement. We use the latest photographic technology, with professional digital SLR cameras, high end lenses and flashes, radio triggers to let us use off camera lighting, and most importantly we understand how it all works so we can make great image no matter the light, the weather, or the location. We have backup cameras, lenses, and flashes, just in case anything happens to our main gear – better safe than sorry! We work with a lot of off camera lighting, including portable studio lighting, to make the best images possible on your wedding day.
We’ve been photographing weddings in Wellington since around 2004, so we’ve been to most of the churches and venues in the area. We always scout any locations we haven’t been before, with our customers, so we’re familiar with the locations on your wedding day.
